What methods of payment are accepted?
maxonshop.com/us accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Customers who wish to pay by check, terms or COD should contact MAXON's direct sales team.
Is it safe to use my credit card?
All online credit card sales are kept secure by SSL technology, the most secure encryption technology currently available for electronic transactions. Credit card authorization and charges are managed through Cybercash, a division of Verisign, Inc. We use the same credit card networks that retail stores use when you make a credit card purchase in person.
What happens to the information I give you?
MAXON is concerned for your privacy and will not release your order information to third parties. Please read our privacy policy for more information.
My credit card information was not accepted. What can I do?
For proper credit card verification, the billing address on your order must match the billing address on your credit card. Please make sure that your name and address appears exactly the same as the name on your credit card billing statement.
If you are using a corporate card, check with the cardholder or your Accounting department to verify the name and billing address of the cardholder. Corporate card orders must also use the name of the cardholder in the billing address, and not the purchaser, in order to process the order successfully.
Also be aware that some banks restrict daily charges to debit cards. If you are using a debit card to make your purchase, check with your bank to see if limits apply.
If you continue to have problems, please contact Customer Service. Remember that your credit card will not be charged until the product is actually shipped.
Do you charge sales tax?
maxonshop.com/us charges sales tax on shipments to California only, in compliance with California State Law. Any tax charged will be reflected on your order confirmation.
International customers may be liable for additional tax charges in their respective countries. These customs fees are not the responsibility of MAXON.
My company is based in California and has a sales-tax reduction or exemption certificate. How do I exclude sales tax from my order?
Please call our sales team to place your order. Our online system is not capable of determining sales-tax reduction or exemption eligibility.
How much do you charge for customs, brokerage, and other fees?
This section of maxonshop.com is unique to North and South America, and products in this section can be delivered anywhere in the Western Hemisphere subject to US export regulations. Because we cannot determine the customs, brokerage, or other fees that you may incur when the product enters your country, UPS will collect these fees when they deliver your order. For a fairly accurate estimate, check with UPS. If the amount still isn't clear and you want to be absolutely sure of the charges, we recommend that you purchase the products from your local MAXON reseller.
Do you accept purchase orders?
maxonshop.com/us currently cannot accept purchase orders. Our sales department can accept purchase orders by phone from customers based in North and South America. Educational institutions may be eligible to purchase our products at a discounted rate through our educational program.
How do I get a receipt for my purchase?
A purchase receipt is emailed to you automatically when you complete your order. Additionally, you can print a receipt by clicking "Your Account", logging in and choosing "Order History".

What shipping methods does MAXON provide?
maxonshop.com/us ships all orders via United Parcel Service (UPS), unless other shipping arrangements are made through our sales department. Please note that UPS cannot deliver to a P.O. Box or APO address. If you cannot receive a package via UPS, please call our sales department to make alternate arrangements.
How quickly will my order be processed?
Our Southern California fulfillment center is alerted within minutes of your order, and maxonshop.com/us will make every effort to process your order within two business days. Orders placed prior to 1pm PST M-F are typically processed on the same day. Orders after noon PST will be processed on the following business day. In any event, orders will be shipped no later than the next business day after receipt of the order. Please note the availability of each product in your shopping cart as some items are occasionally out of stock and we ship only complete orders. Orders with items of limited availability are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that orders are not processed on holidays or weekends.
How quickly will my order be shipped?
maxonshop.com/us offers a variety of UPS shipping methods to provide you with the best selection of price and speed options. Please note the shipping method chosen during your order. The time-in-transit indicated does not include weekends or holidays. Saturday delivery and Counter-to-Counter service can be arranged through our sales department for an additional fee. Once your order has been processed, we unfortunately have no means to have it shipped via another method.
Please note that UPS time-in-transit guarantees are sometimes suspended in the event of national or regional emergency. MAXON has no control over this occurrence.
What if the status of my order is still "pending"?
If your order is still pending after three business days and all items were listed as in stock at the time of your order, please contact customer service.
Can I track my order?
When your order is shipped, you should receive an email at the address provided during your order which will include the UPS tracking number of your shipment. To track the shipment, visit UPS.COM

I received the wrong product / platform. How can I correct the mistake?
While we make every effort to ship accurate, complete orders, we will occasionally make an error in fulfilling an order. If your order appears to be incorrect, please review the order history on maxonshop.com/us to verify that the order was submitted properly. Then contact us at 805-376-3333 x5110 and our representative will be happy to help correct the mistake.
I didn't receive all of the products I ordered. When will the others arrive?
If you feel your order was shipped incomplete, please check the UPS shipping label to determine if the shipment was sent in multiple boxes. Sometimes these boxes get separated during shipment and can arrive hours or days apart. You should also open all of the product boxes you received as some items are packaged together in bundles or included in another product box for safety in shipping.
If it still seems the order is incomplete, please review the order history on maxonshop.com/us then contact us at 805-376-3333 x5110 and our representative will be happy to help correct the mistake.
What if I decide I don't want the software? What is your return policy?
Unfortunately, due to piracy concerns, MAXON Computer Inc (i.e. the United States office) is unable to accept returns of software. Please download our demo versions in order to confirm your purchase decision prior to placing your order.
MAXON Computer Inc offers free technical support on all of its products. If the product seems to be functioning improperly or you are having difficulties using it, please contact our technical support department via the support.maxon.net/us Online Support Form or call 805-716-1313.
How do I cancel an order?
If you need to cancel an order, please use the order history function to cancel or contact us right away. Orders are processed immediately and sent to our distribution center electronically, so your order may have already shipped. If this happens, just refuse delivery when the box is delivered and we will credit the full amount less shipping when we receive the item back at our warehouse.
I lost my serial number or keyfile - can you replace it?
Your serial number is a very important asset, and we encourage you to keep it in a safe place. An important part of MAXON's piracy controls is our ability to track the owner of each serial number, and if you are careless with this number you may be liable for any piracy reported using the number.
However, if you've lost your serial number or keyfile our technical support department will make all efforts to retrieve the number for you, provided they can verify your identity. Contact MAXON technical support via phone at 805-716-1313.
